The Emu is a limited rare pet in Adopt Me! that was released on February 29, 2020, along with the Aussie Egg. As the Aussie Egg is now unavailable, the Emu can only be obtained by hatching any remaining Aussie Eggs or through trading with other players. Players have a 27% chance of hatching a rare pet from the Aussie Egg but only a 13.5% chance of hatching an Emu.

The Emu has a light brown head, long neck and feet, small beady black eyes, a darker brown body, and a dark gray beak.

The Neon Emu glows orange on its beak, wings, and feet.
Mega Neon Appearance[]
The Mega Neon Emu glows in the same areas as the Neon Emu, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.

- It is the fifth pet to have a long neck, preceded by the Flamingo, Giraffe, Llama, and Swan.
- It is the only bird pet from the Aussie Egg.
- The Emu and Flamingo have similar animations and both appear bright orange in their Neon version.
