The Winter Festival (2024) was an event in Adopt Me! that began on December 6, 2024, and ended on January 10, 2025. NPCs Shane, Rachel, Cricket, and Santa introduced players to the event.

The event's currency was Gingerbread and Robux, which could be used to purchase pets and other items in the event. Gingerbread could be obtained through minigames.

From the third week onwards, players could swap 700 in exchange for 9,000 once per real-life day by talking to Billy.

Activities

Ice Skating

Every in-game day, Gingerbread appeared around the frozen lake and in the Mistletroll Village starting from the third week of the event. As players skated, they could collect the gingerbread shapes, which disappeared when collected. Each gingerbread shape collected was worth 12. The lake had penguins that moved around on the ice and slowed the player down if bumped into. There were 160 gingerbread shapes in the lake and 50 in the Mistletroll Village; players could receive a maximum of 2,520 if they collected all gingerbread shapes from both areas.

Players could start timed races by interacting with Speedy The Penguin on the lake or Hurry The Penguin in the Mistletroll Village. For completing each race for the first time, players received 500.

Melt Off

This minigame is a reskin of the "Spleef" minigame from the Halloween Event (2022).

Players had seventy seconds to run around five layers of honeycomb tiles, with tiles disappearing once stepped on. Players who fell were sent to lower layers, but they were eliminated if they fell off the bottom layer and into the water. Players earned 1,000 for playing as well as extra Gingerbread for each second they survived. The maximum Gingerbread that could be earned from this minigame was 3,250.

Frostclaw's Revenge

This minigame was released during the second week of the event. Up to three players could play together, and were tasked with protecting Santa from waves of Snowball Pet, Snowman, Cold Cube, and Ice Golem enemies as they progressed through levels. Players were provided with a Toy Sword at the start of the minigame, but could pick up and use the Ice Saber instead if they had one in their inventory. Both swords dealt one base damage to enemies, but the Ice Saber had the ability to shoot a projectile, which allowed players to attack from further away. Each player was also accompanied by a pet that would periodically attack enemies, dealing one base damage. Players would spawn in the minigame alongside a Winter Fawn, Winter Doe, or Winter Buck. The only difference between the companions was their size and appearance; they all dealt the same amount of damage and moved at the same speed. The players were also provided with two Joy Bombs, which dealt five damage to enemies.

When playing solo, the Snowball Pet enemies had one health, Snowman enemies had three, Cold Cube enemies had two, and Ice Golem enemies had ten. Snowbosses, which are bigger Snowball Pet and Snowman enemies, had fifteen and twenty-four health respectively. The Snowball Pet enemies dealt one damage to players, Snowman and Cold Cube enemies dealt three, Snowball Pet Snowbosses and Ice Golem enemies dealt five, and Snowman Snowbosses dealt six. The health of these enemies would be increased if more than one player was in the minigame. Players had thirty health, while Santa had one-hundred.

As players progressed through the levels with Santa, they would reach stopping points and be prompted to choose a "gift" from him. The gifts helped the players progress through the minigame, providing health boosts, sword damage boosts, pet companion damage boosts, Joy Bomb capacity boosts, and speed boosts. When these stopping points were reached, both Santa and the players' health were restored by twenty-five points, and the players' supplies of Joy Bombs were restored to max capacity. During the game, the player could collect a maximum of eleven "gifts" from Santa.

When the final stage of the minigame was reached, Frostclaw spawned with twenty health and a transparent blue bubble around him. When he was surrounded by the bubble, he could not be damaged. In order to damage him, players had to defeat the enemies that he spawned and avoid his attacks, which dealt ten damage. Upon defeating the wave of enemies, the bubble disappeared. After a few moments, the bubble reappears, and players had to defeat the spawned enemies again. This cycle repeated until Frostclaw was defeated.

If a player's health was depleted to zero, they would be frozen for five seconds. Once the five seconds were up, the player's health was fully restored and they were allowed to continue playing the minigame. If Santa's health reached zero, the minigame ended in defeat. The reward received from the minigame varied depending on each player's score. Their score was determined by the enemies they defeated, as more difficult enemies rewarded more points. Upon completing the minigame, players received an amount of Gingerbread equivalent to their score (capped at 24,000), a Tiny Age Potion for each part completed, and a Winter Deer Bait.

Code A.D.O.P.T.

This minigame was released during the third week of the event, and is based on the "Santa's Workshop" minigame from the Winter Festival (2023).

Players had ninety seconds to pick up mechanical parts of four different colors that appeared on the conveyor belts and put them into their corresponding trucks to earn points. Players could carry up to four parts at once no matter the type. Polished pieces could appear, which were worth double the points for putting them in the correct truck. Twice per session, a randomly selected truck would leave, causing parts corresponding to the truck to stop appearing. During the final fifteen seconds, frenzy mode was activated, increasing the speed of all players and parts as well as doubling the points earned. The maximum Gingerbread that could be earned from this minigame is 3,250.
