Speedy The Penguin is an NPC in Adopt Me! that was introduced during the Winter Holiday (2020), Winter Holiday (2021), Winter Event (2022) and Winter Festival (2023). In these events, they stand in a green circle next to the main bridge in Adoption Island. There is a board near them that records the players' times.
By interacting with them, Speedy The Penguin will start a timed race, which can be done indefinitely. When a player completes a race for the first time, they will receive 
800 during the Winter Holiday (2020), while only 500 since the Winter Holiday (2021).
Appearance[]
Speedy The Penguin is a large-sized Golden Penguin who is wearing the Ski Goggles pet accessory on their head.
Dialogue[]
When a player decides to race for the first time since the Winter Holiday (2021), Speedy The Penguin says:
"Hey there! I'm Speedy! I mean - I'm Speedy The Penguin!"
"I make race courses and obbys for my friends to play!"
"Do you like to race? I've set up a course right here on the lake!"
"Want to try my course? I'll give you 500 Gingerbread when you complete your first run!"
After a player speaks to Speedy The Penguin after completing their first race, they say:
"I hope my friends weren't too hard on you..."
"Anyway, as promised, here's your reward!"
"Talk to me any time you want to run the course again."
"Try competing with your friends to see who's the fastest!"
When a player has already completed a race, Speedy The Penguin says:
"Welcome back!"
A pop-up saying “Race Again?” with the yes or no buttons will then appear.
When a player interacts with Speedy The Penguin during the 2023 April Fools Event, they say:
"Heeeey theeere! I'm Speedy the Penguin!"
"I make obbies and race courses for my friends,"
"but they only get to play them in the Winter..."
"Something about... dangerously thin ice? I don't know..."
"Anyway, Burt REALLY wanted to pull a prank on everyone and freeze the lake,"
"so he asked me to put up a one-day course, just for April Fool's!"
"We're all out of Gingerbread, so there's no reward,"
"but you can show EVERYONE how fast you are!!"
"Try not to bump into my friends, they don't like pranks..."

Trivia[]
- There is a glitch where Speedy turns into a regular penguin because of the game lagging.
- There is another glitch where Speedy the Penguin says "Pengiun" instead of "Penguin".
