The Shadow Dragon is a limited legendary pet in Adopt Me! that was sold for 
1000 in the 2019 Halloween Event Part 1 and Part 2. It could have been found in the Candy Trading Shop near the old Graveyard or in the Gamepass Menu. It was located in front of the little tombstones along with other pets that were exclusive to the 2019 Halloween Update, such as the Zombie Buffalo, the Evil Unicorn, and the Bat Dragon.
Appearance
It is a skeleton-like, black-purple dragon with a spiky tail, glowing purple eyes, and sharp spikes running down its spine and horns on its head. You can also see the Shadow Dragon’s rib cage. The dragon's rib cage emits purple light/fire in the shape of small flakes. The Shadow Dragon has a very distinctive shadow breath that looks like a purple-black fire mixed with glowing purple flakes.
Neon Appearance
In its Neon form, the Shadow Dragon has its horns, inner wings, and back scales glowing a bright light purple and its breath is stronger/clearer to see/more visible than the regular, whilst the rest of the body stays the same.

Mega Neon Shadow Dragon
The mega neon form of the Shadow Dragon has its horns, inner wings, and back scales shifting through the different colors of the rainbow. The first colors of the mega neon Shadow Dragon were just cycling through blue, purple, and white until the players were very upset Adopt Me did a secret update finally making the mega neon Shadow Dragon's colors cycle through different colors of the rainbow.

- It has 2 exclusive tricks: Dive and Shadow Breath.
- This was the second dragon to be released after the Dragon.
- The Frost Dragon is a re-skin of the Shadow Dragon in cyan and light blue with curved horns and a sealed chest with no visible rib cage. The Frost Dragon also bears a similar trick to Shadow Breath, called Frost Breath.
- The Mega Neon version used to cycle through only three colors - blue, purple, and white. It has now been updated so that it now cycles through the entire rainbow.
