The Monkey King was an NPC in Adopt Me! that was introduced during the Monkey Fairground. They could be found near the center of the circular plaza of the Monkey Fairground tent, next to the Toy Monkey (NPC). As the Monkey Fairground Event has ended, this NPC is no longer in the game.
When players interacted with the Monkey King, it would introduce itself and list what items the player would need to transform their Monkey to a Monkey King; a prompt would appear to transform their Monkey provided players have it equipped and three Staff Ingredients in their inventory.
Appearance[]
Being a Monkey King, this NPC features a yellow and tan Monkey with gold and red armor, holding a replica of the Staff Ingredient in its tail and a Monkey King Crown on its head.
Dialogue[]
When a player interacts with the Monkey King without a Monkey equipped, a pop-up appears prompting the player to equip a Monkey they want to transform. When a player interacts with the Monkey King with a Monkey equipped, this is their dialogue:
"I’m a King monkey, master of all!
Give me 3 staffs and I will teach your monkey how to rule responsibly like me."
When a player interacts with the Monkey King without 3 Staff Ingredients in their inventory, their dialogue continues as:
"Your gift is unworthy, return with 3 staffs to transform your monkey."
When a player interacts with the Monkey King with 3 Staff Ingredients in their inventory, their dialogue continues as:
"Your gift pleases the king. I will teach your monkey."
