Adopt Me! Wiki

The Halloween Event (2025) is an event in Adopt Me! that began on October 3, 2025, and ended on November 3, 2025. Along with it came changes to the entire Adoption Island map, such as Halloween-themed decorations and various activity areas. Patchy's Arcade, located where the Playground usually is, held The Hauntlet, Costume Party, and Sleep or Treat minigame queues and many purchasable items. Other items for purchase could be found scattered throughout the rest of the map. NPCs Mayor Amanda, Headless Horseman, and Grave Dave introduced players to the event.

Players were able to earn Candy through many different event activities, and use it to purchase new pets and other items. During Halloween weekend, Candy rewards from all event activities were increased by 20%. When the event ended, a wagon carrying all of the purchasable items except for the Yarn Apple was released until November 7, 2025, allowing players to spend any leftover Candy.

Activities[]

Scale the Organ![]

Beginning in week one, pets and babies could get the "Scale the Organ!" ailment, which required climbing the giant organ keys beside the Hospital. When a player scaled the keys, a Phantom Dragon appeared and offered the chance to purchase it. Completing the ailment rewarded the player with 20 and 100.

Headless Horseman's Grab Bag[]

Beginning in week one, players could collect a free item from the Headless Horseman's Grab Bag at the Playground every 10 minutes. Each grab had the following chances of reward: a 35% chance for 250, 25% for 500, 20% for 750, 10% for 1,000, 8% for one Yarn Apple, and 2% for three Yarn Apples.

Kitty Bat Taming[]

Starting from week one, at the 17th and 47th minutes of every hour, Kitty Bats spawned at the Playground and flew in a circle for three minutes. While spawned, players could equip and use a Yarn Apple to gain progress towards taming a Kitty Bat. Depending on how well they timed the Yarn Apple throw on the meter that appeared at the bottom of their screen, they gained either 5% or 10% taming progress; meaning it took a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 Yarn Apples to obtain a Kitty Bat.

The Hauntlet[]

Starting from week one, The Hauntlet could be accessed through the minigame queue in Patchy's Arcade. In this minigame, players had to make it through 100 doors without losing all of their hearts or failing to pick a door within 20 seconds. They started with four hearts, two of which were non-refillable and permanently disappeared when lost. In each room players had to choose to go through one of three different doors. None of the doors in the first room were harmful, however from the second room onwards at least one of the doors was guaranteed to have an enemy behind it. When a player chose a door with an enemy behind it, they lost a certain amount of hearts depending on which one appears. From rooms 2-49, only Ghosts could appear; they damaged players by one heart. From rooms 50 and onwards, Phantom Dragons could appear, damaging players by two hearts. Near room 80 and onwards, Patchy Bears could appear, and damaged players by three hearts. Throughout the minigame, players gained different items by going through doors. They could use them to heal themselves, temporarily be immune to enemies, reveal safe or unsafe doors, and unlock doors that require keys.

Below is a description of each item that could be earned and used in the minigame:

  • Cell Phone: Revealed one door with an enemy behind it.
  • Key: Allowed a player to enter a locked door.
  • Monster Repellant: Prevented damage from enemies for one room.
  • Heart Potion: Refilled all red hearts.
  • Rainbow Wand: Revealed the door(s) without an enemy behind them in one room.
  • Golden Key: Allowed a player to open the Golden Door, which rewarded the Golden Heart Potion. It could alternatively be used to open a locked door.
  • Golden Heart Potion: Refilled all red hearts and gave a player an extra, refillable one up to a maximum of eight.

In the minigame, players could encounter several types of doors, each offering different levels of risk and reward depending on their choice:

  • Gray Locked Door: Required a Key to open. It had the lowest chance of hiding an enemy and therefore granted the smallest rewards.
  • Plain Brown Door: Carried a slightly higher chance of hiding an enemy than the gray locked door but provided slightly greater rewards.
  • Boarded Brown Doors: These doors were riskier than the plain door, with a higher likelihood of enemies appearing behind them. In return, they yielded better rewards.
  • Boarded Door with Glowing White Eyes: The riskiest of all the brown doors, this one had the highest probability of containing an enemy. However, if no enemy appeared, it offered the greatest rewards among them.
  • Spiked Door with Blue Electric Sparks: Opening this door immediately cost the player one heart, but it offered substantial rewards and only a low to moderate chance of hiding an enemy.
  • Golden Door: Required a Golden Key. This door carried no risk of an enemy encounter and always rewarded the player with a Golden Heart Potion.

Players earned cumulative rewards based on how far they progressed. The farther they advanced, the more Candy and Bucks they received. Reaching Room 50 granted a Yarn Apple, and successfully escaping the minigame for the first time awarded the Made It Out Sticker. Each opened door also granted 10 XP to equipped pets. The maximum possible rewards were 21,000 and 2,000.

Wear and Scare![]

Starting from week two, pets could receive the "Wear and Scare!" ailment, which required walking around with the pet to complete. After completing the ailment, the player was rewarded 20 and 100. The pet could also specifically request a leash for this ailment, which provided a 3x Bucks and XP bonus to the reward.

Costume Party[]

Starting from week two, the Costume Party minigame queue could be accessed in Patchy's Arcade. In this minigame, players had 90 seconds to dress a pet from their inventory up with pet accessories displayed on stands in the room. At the start, they were given a theme to follow, which could be one of the following: 67, Fairytale, Fancy Party, Funny, Funny Clowns, Gravedigger, Heroes and Villains, Horrible, Masquerade, Nightmare, Scary, Scary Clowns, Survival, Trick or Treat, or Vampire. Once the time to dress up pets ran out, players then had a varying amount of time to cast up to three votes on the pets of other players. The amount of time given during the voting process could range from about 10 to 50 seconds, depending on how many players were participating in the round. If only one player was participating, the voting portion was skipped. Once the round ended, players received a reward of Candy; the amount depended on their placement and how many votes they received. A minimum of 2,800 was earned for participation in the minigame.

Popped Candy Corn![]

Starting from week three, pets could receive the "Popped Candy Corn!" ailment, which required jumping on all six lily pads in the swamp area to complete. After completing the ailment, the player was rewarded 20 and 100. The player also received 10 for each lily pad they jumped on. Candy could be earned from the lily pads once every in-game day, regardless of if a player's pet had the ailment or not.

Sleep or Treat[]

Starting in week three, the Sleep or Treat minigame was available in Patchy's Arcade, running on a recurring 15โ€“20 minute timer. Each round lasted about two to three minutes. Players raced through a specially designed residential mapโ€”separate from the main Adopt Me worldโ€”to knock on doors, collect candy, and deposit it in a central pumpkin before time expired. Once a house had been visited, its lights turned gray to show it was complete. The map included blocked paths, Halloween decorations, and Easter eggs such as a red balloon in a drain referencing It.

Players had to avoid DJ Snooze, a floating NPC villain who could put them to sleep either by touching them or by hitting them with an exploding snooze bomb. If caught, players had to tap rapidly to wake up, losing 20% of the candy in their basket. Power-ups found around the map included Headsets, which granted immunity to DJ Snooze's music, and Candy Potions, which boosted running speed for faster candy collection. Once the round was over, players received 1,750 for participating, with additional Candy being earned through successfully delivering candy to the pumpkin in the minigame. Players could also receive a Yarn Apple as a rare reward.

Where Bear?[]

Starting from week four, the "Where Bear?" minigame could be accessed at any time through a building next to the Nursery. In the "Where Bear?" minigame, players were assigned one of three roles: Survivor, Hunter, or Bear. Survivors had to survive for as long as possible, Hunters had to capture the Bears with their Netzooka, though they lost a net if they captured a survivor, and Bears had to eliminate all the survivors and hunters by switching between their regular form and their faster bear form. If a player was attacked/captured, they were turned into a ghost to spectate the match; if they were wielding a Netzooka, it was dropped for other survivors to use. Candy spawned around the map, which players could collect even as a ghost. At the end of the match, players received extra Candy for how long they survived, capturing Bears, and player eliminations for Bears. There were three different maps that the minigame could take place on. Each map would be present for three rounds before switching to the next.

Candy Tornado[]

Beginning in week four of the event, the Candy Tornado became available in the game. During this activity, a swirling tornado randomly appeared on Adoption Island, slowly moving across the map and dropping Candy Corn for players to collect. It could spawn anywhere without warning โ€” there are no alerts โ€” so players had to watch for clues like strong winds to spot it forming. Each Candy Corn dropped was worth 10, and staying close behind the tornado let players gather the most before it disappeared. The tornado only lasted briefly before fading away, with reported spawn areas near the Hospital, Patchyโ€™s Arcade, and the School.

Admin Abuse[]

Admin Abuse was hosted on November 1, 2025, and lasted 35 minutes. It included 3x Bucks and XP, and superspeed. Players who joined the game during Admin Abuse received a total of 80,000, a Yarn Apple, and a Spider Box.
