Gifts

The current gift board.

Gifts are items in Adopt Me! that give players random items when opened. They were added in December 2017, as part of the 2017 Christmas Event. There are different types of gifts, and each gift has different chances of containing items of different rarities.

Various events also utilize gifts as a way for players to collect exclusive event items. These event gifts are often separate from the gifts found near the Gifts Display, and as such can be kept and traded even after the event is over.

The most common way to obtain gifts is by purchasing them with Bucks through the gifts stand that is run by Santa near the School. Another way to obtain Gifts is after players log in for a certain number of days for their Daily Reward. Players will get their first free Small Gift by logging in for five days. If a player opens a gift, they have a small chance of unboxing a limited-time legendary vehicle. These legendary vehicles are on a constant rotation, with each vehicle being available for seven days at a time. The Growing Flower Hat is the first legendary gift pet accessory, although it was removed after the gift refresh on November 2023.

The Gifts Display's prizes change every once in a while, and when they do, the prizes that were previously obtained from gifts will be replaced and will no longer be available to obtain from the gifts even if a player bought the gift before they were removed.

When a player opens a gift, a message would appear near the bottom of the screen, stating the item obtained, and its rarity in brackets. If a player opens a Small, Big, or Massive Gift, This message is also sent to the server's chat.

Monkey Boxes

When opening a Pony Box, there is an 87.5% chance to get a rare Shetland Pony Dark Brown, a 10% chance to get an ultra-rare Shetland Pony White, and a 2.5% chance to get a legendary Shetland Pony Light Brown.

Players could purchase a Duckling Box for 12,000 in the Springfest Shop during the Easter Event (2023) and the Spring Festival (2023)'s third week. When opening the Duckling Box, players have a 60% chance to get a Happy Duckling, a 30% chance to get an Flower Power Duckling, and a 10% chance to get a Sunrise Duckling.

Players could purchase a Hermit Crab Box for 12,000 in the Summerfest Shop during the Summer Festival (2023) as of the event's third week. When opening the Hermit Crab Box, players have a 60% chance to get a Hermit Crab, a 25% chance to get a Castle Hermit Crab, a 10% chance to get an Ice Cream Hermit Crab, and a 5% chance to get a Pirate Hermit Crab.
