The Dress Your Pets Live Event was the first live event in Adopt Me!. It occurred on April 11, 2020, at 11:50 AM ET to celebrate the new pet accessories.
During this event, around 1.6 million players played Adopt Me! and it caused Roblox to briefly crash, but after a while, players were able to log back on and obtain pet accessories to dress their pets.

Near the Hospital, the live event was happening. It broadcasted to players 'Something big is happening at the hospital.'
If the players went to the hospital , they would have seen Burt fishing and saying oddly random stuff. Burt fished up the Hat Shop, which was a place under the river where you could collect key pieces for the Founder's Key.
The Hat Shop came out of the river, and then the game shut down after the countdown. The update turned out to be the ability to dress your pets, but when the game shut down, Roblox crashed and nobody could play it for a few moments. Sadly, some people lost their data due to the crash.

- This is the first and only Adopt Me! live event as of April 2020.
- This is another time Adopt Me! breaks Roblox records, as the first and only game has ever crashed all of Roblox.
- This record was completely unexpected and very saddening to the people who lost their data.
