The Christmas Event (2017) was the first Christmas event in Adopt Me!. The event was released on December 21, 2017, and it added what would later become the gifts feature to the game. There was a display in the center of Adoption Island with three Gifts containing new toys and vehicles. The gifts at the stand could be purchased for 
99 (Small Gifts), 149 (Big Gifts), or 625 (Massive Gifts). During the event period, players could claim a free daily gift as a reward for logging in during the event.

Trivia[]
- Before the update, there were a few wooden boxes with a sign that displayed "Coming Soon!" in place of the Gifts display.
- The original prices of the Gifts were different from their current prices; the Small Gift originally cost
99, but now costs 70; the Big Gift originally cost 149, but now costs 199; the Massive Gift originally cost 625, but now costs 499. The Big Gift is the only gift of which the price increased, while the other two decreased.
