The Cherry Blossom Festival (2025) is an event in Adopt Me! that began on April 4, 2025, and ended on May 2, 2025. It brought several temporary map changes with it, such as scattered cherry blossom trees around Adoption Island, a different skybox, and several structures. In the event area behind the Tear Up Toykyo queue, enlarged pets exclusive to the event appeared next to a mountain.
Players were able to earn a new currency known as Cherry Blossoms, and purchase new pets, toys, pet accessories, and other items with them over the course of the event. NPCs Mayor Amanda and Mr. Murai introduced players to the event. When the event ended, a wagon carrying some of the event items was released for a week, allowing players to spend any leftover
Cherry Blossoms.
Activities[]
Sakura Swoop[]
In this minigame, players had 120 seconds to glide around the minigame area and collect as many points as possible. A Sunrise Hang Glider was provided to every player at the beginning of the minigame. If they owned the Wing Hang Glider or Cherry Blossom Hang Glider, they could choose to use either of them instead. For the first 80 seconds, points could only be earned by gliding through rings of Cherry Blossoms scattered in the sky. For each ring the player flew through, they began to build a combo. As the combo increased, more points were earned from each ring. If the player landed on one of the islands in the area or fell into the bottom layer of clouds, their combo reset. At the start of the minigame, the player had a single boost that could be used to push them upwards. This boost was regained every time they flew through a ring or landed on a lantern. The lanterns spawned during the final 40 seconds of the minigame, drifting upwards from the bottom of the map. When landed on, they provided points, increased the player's combo, and pushed them upwards. When gliding, the player descended slowly. To drop in altitude quicker, they could use their jump button to unequip the glider, then again to equip it. Once the minigame ended, the player received a grade, which determined how many
Cherry Blossoms they earned. 0 points received in the minigame resulted in an F grade, which rewarded
0. 1 to 9,999 points earned resulted in a C grade, which rewarded
2,750. 10,000 to 19,999 points gave the player a B grade, which rewarded
3,000. 20,000 to 49,999 points awarded an A grade, which provided
3,250. If the player scored 50,000 points or more, they received an S grade, which rewarded
3,350.
Cherry Blossom Viewing[]
There was a viewing area next to the Tear Up Toykyo minigame queue. When a player was inside the area, they earned 25 every 15 seconds. They could remain in this area for an indefinite amount of time to earn
Cherry Blossoms. If they remained idle for 15 minutes, they would be automatically sent to another server to prevent them from being kicked from the game.
Tear Up Toykyo[]
In this minigame, up to four players were placed into an area with various structures made of blocks. Each player spawned as a Kaijunior, Toxic Kaijunior, Scorching Kaijunior, or Primal Kaijunior. Once the minigame began, they had 120 seconds to gain as many points as possible by destroying structures. When they initially spawned, only the smallest structures could be stomped on. Things that could not be destroyed by the player yet would appear gray, and gain color once they reached the required growth stage to destroy it. A sprint button could be used to run over structures faster, lasting a few seconds. Once pressed, it required time to be recharged before the next use. When a player reached a new growth stage, they grew in size and unlocked new structures to destroy, which granted more points. 1,500 points were required to reach the baby stage, 3,000 were needed for the teenage stage, 6,000 points unlocked the menace stage, 10,000 points allowed a player to reach the epic stage, and 25,000 points unlocked the final stage, royal. The player with the most amount of points in a round would have a crown appear above their head. Once the minigame ended, the reward received depended on both the growth stage reached by the player and their ranking against others in the round. The highest ranking reward that could be gained was 300, which could only be earned by the player who finished in first place in a round with 3 other players. No ranking rewards could be earned by the player who finishes in last place or in a round with only one player. Finishing while in the baby stage rewarded
2,500, the teenage stage rewarded
2,650, the menace stage earned
2,750, the epic stage granted
2,850, and the royal stage rewarded
3,000. Finishing with less than 1,500 points resulted in the player earning
0. The maximum amount of
Cherry Blossoms that could be earned from this minigame was
3,300.
Gacha Bot[]
Players could purchase a capsule from the Gacha Bot in the event area for 500 each. When purchasing a capsule, there was a 25% chance to receive a Pet Egg, a 20% chance to receive two Tiny Age Potions, a 20% chance to receive
3,000, a 12% chance to receive a Royal Egg, a 10% chance to receive
6,000, a 7% chance to receive
9,000, a 5% chance to get an Age-Up Potion, and a 1% chance to obtain the Energy Aura Feet.
2x Egg Hunt[]
Occasionally the R4BBIT'S FOOT Seismograph would alert players that an egg hunt is starting soon. Once the countdown reached zero, players in the server had five minutes to find 40 eggs hidden around Adoption Island. If all of the eggs were successfully found within the time limit, the Mecha R4BBIT would spawn and 2x XP will be granted to every player in the server for an hour. If at least one egg was found, every player in the server was rewarded 1,000 at the end of the hunt, whether all of the eggs were found or not.
