The Candy (Food) was a temporary common food in Adopt Me! that was added to the game along with the Halloween Event (2017). It was used as the currency for the event, and was obtainable by finding the Headless Horseman NPC each in-game night. It was also purchasable for
75 each during the event.
It was reintroduced to the game after the Halloween Event (2018), when the Candy Cannon was changed to shoot Candy (Food) instead of Candy (Currency), as the event had ended. The Candy was also obtainable through trading during this time. The Candy Cannon was later changed to shoot Candy Corn, and the Candy (Food) disappeared from every player's inventory. It is no longer obtainable, as it was completely removed from the game.
When eaten, it increased the speed of the player, similar to the Hyperspeed Potion, Monkey Fairground Cotton Candy, Chocolate, Chocolate Twist, Chocolate Drop, Ice Tub, Cookie, and Candy Corn. The more Candy a player ate, the faster their speed became.
The Candy took a single bite to eat. If a player reset their character or left the game and rejoined after eating Candy, they automatically lost the speed that it gave them. There was a maximum amount of Candy that a player could have in their inventory at once when it was available from the Candy Cannon.
Appearance[]
Candy is a magenta-colored lollipop with a black circle in the middle. It has a white stick.
