The Burtaur was a temporary common pet in Adopt Me! that was released on April 1, 2025, as part of the April Fool's Update. It could have been obtained for free by talking to Burt in front of the Nursery. It is now completely unobtainable, as it left all players' inventories on April 2, 2025.
The Burtaur could not be traded or given away, and only one was given to each player. It had permanent 2x Bucks and XP active, and was fully grown when received.
Appearance[]
The Burtaur features the top half of the NPC, Burt's body attached to a brown animal body with a lighter brown underbelly, four black feet, and a black tail.

The Burtaur had unique dialogue triggered by entering specific buildings or performing certain actions. Listed below is all of the possible dialogue:

Trivia[]
- The Burtaur could not be fed Ride-A-Pet Potions or Fly-A-Pet Potions. Leashes could not be used on it either.
- Inside of a newspaper article that is seen after completing the Tear Up Toykyo minigame, it is revealed that Burtaur was banished due to a wizard's April Fools prank.
