Sorry that I'm very late, like a month late, but you can't sell cars. You CAN trade it with other players though. (I'm kinda assuming you've already figured this out by now.)

I’m very late as well, but you can sell your car by using the cash register. You can ask people to pay you and then give them your car. This is kind of risky, so I never do it.
